Adity Dance CIC, founded in 2023, promotes community engagement through inclusive dance experiences. We introduce Bharatanatyam and Bangladeshi Folk Dance to diverse audiences, offering accessible choreography. Our classes welcome neurotypical and neurodiverse participants of all ages and abilities, fostering creativity, self-expression, and high-quality performance opportunities in a supportive environment.
We aim to create a compassionate platform for autistic individuals, helping them flourish and challenge stigmas within the South Asian community. Our projects empower people of all backgrounds, including those with physical and mental disabilities, to celebrate diversity and the joy of movement.
Adity Roy is a highly accomplished trained Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in London. Rooted in the classical Kalakshetra tradition, her dance is praised for its expressive storytelling and evolving language of facial expressions (abhinaya). Trained under esteemed gurus like Professor C.V. Chandrasekhar, Nidhi Misra, and Master Santosh Menon, Adity bridges tradition and innovation. She has performed extensively across Bangladesh, India, Switzerland, France, and the UK, captivating audiences from connoisseurs to newcomers alike. Her work uniquely blends classical forms with contemporary influences, offering a rich and accessible experience to diverse audiences.
Adity began dancing at the age of eight and expanded her artistry by studying English Ballet at Trinity Laban Conservatoire under Zina Mamedova. Her dedication to dance and acting has earned her numerous awards internationally. Known for her powerful stage presence, strong dance lines, and outstanding abhinaya, Adity’s performances often leave audiences with a profound sense of spiritual fulfillment.
